Instructors are available for help and support but will not often track participation as closely as they might for a more traditional class. If you are a self-motivated and self-disciplined student then an internet class can be great but if you need to be pushed, prodded and reminded then you will not be likely to receive the level of support you need in an internet class.
Once you have honestly reviewed where you fall in terms of these three key factors then you should do as much research as possible into the program and class you plan to attend. The more information you find then the more educated a choice you will be able to make about whether or not an internet class is right for you.
